Problems with Migrating Stats and Followers

  Hello. I am trying to move my followers and stats from my original WordPress.com site to my new Jetpack-connected hosted site following the instructions here: https://jetpack.com/support/subscription-migration-tool/

  However, I cannot find the ‘migrate followers from another site’ option under ‘Settings’ as instructed, thus I am not able to migrate anything myself either.

  Does anyone have any suggestions for this please? Thank you.

  You should see the option at the bottom of this page:
  https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion/roadtrips360.net

  Once you’re done, let us know and we’ll merge your stats, too. Also, you might consider getting a site redirect so that links to your old site will be sent to the new one: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/site-redirect/

  Hi @supernovia.

  Thanks a lot for your advice! I have followed your instruction and the migration was noted as “Your follower migration has been queued. You will receive an email to indicate when it starts and finishes.”

  Should I inform you again once I receive the email, or would you be able to merge my stats already?

  Hi there,

  It looks like the follower migration complete already. Can you confirm on your end?

  Either way, I’ve merged the stats for you as well as that doesn’t depend on the follower migration being completed first.

  Hello @kokkieh. Thank you very much for your help as well as @supernovia’s!

  I did not receive any confirmation email from WordPress, but seeing that my followers are on my new site, I assume the migration is completed.

  The notification email might have gone to your spam folder, or if you’re using Gmail to the social or updates folders – that happens sometimes. Either way, happy we could help :)
