Problems with my profile and comments

When I leave a comment on a wordpress blog, the link associated with my name goes to a profile page, and not to my blog. The profile page says that there are no posts yet, when in fact I do have posts. The public web address is different than the public profile address. I am not sure what to do.

Hello,
You can edit your main public blog from your WP.com profile that sits at the top right corner. Or you can use this shortcut https://wordpress.com/me and login to your WP.com account. You will then see the Public web address field where you can type in your preferred blog address.

My public web address works, but the problem is my link name goes to my public profile, which indicates that I have no posts. I can’t change my public profile. Thank you for your help though.

I think I see your problem now. Do you mean your site link on the WordPress Reader? https://wordpress.com/reader/users/mcpersonalspace54. Because, yes, it says your site has had no posts yet. However, this shouldn’t occur because WordPress.com sites’ posts are automatically added to the Reader feed.
Did you by any chance set your site’s privacy settings to discourage a search engine crawling? Because learning from this support page, https://wordpress.com/support/reader/#how-posts-are-displayed this might affect your posts’ appearance in the Reader.
