    Problems with new interface

    1.When I hit edit from a post. It is very slow to get to the editing page. It used to be quick now I get beep beep boop for a while. this happens with both my computers and ipad.

    2.Also the new interface doesn’t let me share with Facebook.

    An additional problem is there is no longer a most frequently used tags option.

    It also removed my zemanta plugin

    Thanks for your feedback. We’re currently discussing this with the developers already.

    2.Also the new interface doesn’t let me share with Facebook.

    You should see sharing option along the right side:

    I only have Twitter set up on my account, but if you have Facebook enabled you should see it there also. Are you not seeing this module? Or is Publicize not working properly?

    I do see that there isn’t a ‘most popular tags’ section anymore, but there is a list of your current tags:

    Do you find that the most popular tags feature was more helpful than this scrolling list?

    It also removed my zemanta plugin

    Our partnership with Zemanta ended in January. If you have the plugin installed in your brower, our editor should not affect that in any way.

    The most popular tags was much more useful. The scrolling list is useless as I write about many things and have a very long list of tags.

    I seem to have Facebook working on new posts but there was a period of a few days when it didn’t work and I don’t seem to be able to add it those. I manually put it in sharing but it seems to go off. As long as the new posts work I can live with this problem.

    I’m sorry about this. I can assure you that our editor could not have caused this, so it may have been a recent browser update that triggered this.

    Great! I’m glad it’s working again. Unfortunately the way our system works, you can’t go back an publicize a post through an update. It can only happen through the initial publishing. This is to avoid spamming social media accounts with small updates to posts.
