Problems with new interface

1. Sharing buttons do not appear on the Image, Gallery, Quote, Link, Aside Posts. (Standard OK)
2. Featured Image diverts you to upload another image from your computer. Can’t access gallery to select image already uploaded to a blog.
3. No spell/grammar checker icon on the Visual editor.
4. Adding tags, is back to manual typing, and scrolling.
These are just a few of the glitches I have found with the new interface. Yes the support staff has given us workarounds to get back to the old editor, but they are rather cumbersome to say the least.

I searched through onmyfrontporch.com, but I couldn’t find any post that wasn’t a standard post format. Could you point me to one on your blog so I can check this out in action?

That’s correct. For right now, the “Featured Image” link only allows uploads from your computer (not photos already uploaded). We’re working on fixing this up.
No spell/grammar checker icon on the Visual editor.
Correct – no spellcheck just yet. That’s another thing we’re working on!
Adding tags, is back to manual typing, and scrolling.
The two main ways of adding tags in the new editor are either to manually type the tag or to scroll through the list under “Choose from existing tags”.
We’re trying hard to address each of the concerns you mentioned above. We appreciate your patience as we work through the kinks!
