problems with portfolio page
-
Hi!
Here is my website: https://lesensdelamarche.fr/
My theme: AperitiveI have a few problems with the portfolio page.
1) The text doen’t appear on the page. It’s a bug I guess… I see only portfolio images corresponding to the projects I created. I would like to see text AND images. Is it possible? What can I do?
2) Other question: is it possible to have a white background and not a black background on the portfolio page? How?
3) Other question: is it possible to put projects in a particular order? Is it possible to add a rank for each portfolio project?
4) Last question: I would like to put 3 logos on one line and 10 projects on one page. Is it possible if I reduce images’ default size or projects’ default number by portfolio page? How can I do it? With CSS maybe?
Thanks,
I.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi again,
1) This is how the portfolio page is supposed to look:
https://aperitivedemo.wordpress.com/gallery/2) Yes, but the CSS could be fairly involved. Please consider hiring someone to work on that and your other CSS issues. We recommend upwork.com
3) These are sorted by date added, newest to oldest. There is not a ranking feature built in.
4) I would not recommend this as it would essentially break the built-in features that make your portfolio items automatically tile. Any CSS layout changes to override this would be extensive. You are welcome to hire someone to help with that if you’d like.
Please remember too, we recommend posting directly to the Aperitive forum for help with this theme. You can find a link here:

Hi!
Thanks for your answer.
I will figure out another solution. For example, a photo gallery with a pop-up text.
Do you know if it’s possible to see alternative text of photos with CSS and how to customize it?
Thanks,
I. -
We do have a gallery features that shows information about the image like so:

Is that what you’re looking for?

Thanks but it’s not what I’m looking for…
I try to show text details about each image of my gallery. Captions appear below images. I don’t like it. I would prefer a text pop-up or a way to show images alternative text.
What do you think?
Thanks,
I. -
The captions could be displayed or hidden, aligned left or right or center, font size adjusted, etc with CSS customization. I don’t think it’s going to be possible to move the entire caption field as you’ve described. You can try the following CSS, but I am not 100% certain it will work on your site. Once you have a gallery set up we can do more direct testing.
I used the theme demo to get the following CSS code which will move the words across the middle of the gallery image towards the top of the gallery image.
.gallery-wrapper a+.entry-header .entry-title { vertical-align: top; } -

lesensdelamarchetoulouse – That’s great. Can you post the solution here? This way, it can help other people who may be facing a similar question.
