Problems with post dates

  I’m having a problem. When I update a draft, I’ve noticed that the “Last modified” date doesn’t automatically update to reflect the actual changes. Also, after publishing a post that is affected by this, the published date of the post isn’t the date that it was actually published.

  It doesn’t seem to affect posts that were created and published in a single day, but ones that have been saved for several days or weeks.

  Besides manually changing the date before posting, is there something that can be done to fix this?
