Problems with posting with Apple based products

I write a sports blog – chipalatta.com – a number of my readers have problems posting lengthy comments when using apple products – here is a typical complaint
‘Unfortunately, I only use an apple Mac or an iPhone these days. And I find myself rushing as I type a post, while at the same time trying to keep it abbreviated. Twice this morning I had a modest three paragraph attempt disappear, I presume because it was too long. My old laptop, dead and buried, worked much better for interacting on Chipalatta. ‘
Is there anything these loyal readers can do -when they only have an iPhone or a Mac to post with?

I checked your blog and found out that it is using an older theme – iTheme2. While this theme has served well in the past, it has since been retired and is no longer being updated. I would second that recommendation. Furthermore, since your original theme looks mostly unmodified and basic enough, you will likely be able to update the theme without too much issue.
You can also preview a new theme in WordPress, simply navigate to Appearance » Themes from your WordPress admin area. This will show you all the themes you can choose from. To see how a different theme would look, hover your mouse over the theme thumbnail and click the Live Preview button. This way you can preview some of the elements you are having issues with before committing to the theme to ensure they work.

Sorry about this, for some reason I’m having trouble editing my reply. In WordPress.com hosted websites you cannot preview the theme on your own sites content, but you can preview the theme itself, inspecting a prefilled content area with a long comment to ensure compatibility.

@mountaingoat76, please note that editing is a feature limited to members of Staff. Therefore, as a user, you do not have the ability to edit your comment once it has been posted.
