Problems with Recent Post Showing on a Page

  Hello, I need help with my blog.

  The theme I am using is Twenty Eleven.

  I have been working on it, and when I was working on the “About” page I realized that using “showcase” was the best option for what I wanted to achieve.

  This is the page: http://lecade.wordpress.com/about-2/

  I love how it looks, however, I cannot make the most recent post go away from the bottom of the page. I have tried doing the “add them as widgets to the footer areas and delete them” thing, and the post is still there.

  I want my posts to show only on the main page, and the rest I just want them to be common pages… please help me with this!

  Ah… I see. So using showcase is specific for that purpose, and if I want my page to just be a normal page I have to select another option.
