problems with repeating billing me every year

I keep getting a bill on my credit card for $69.17 from WordPress every January and I want this to stop. The most recent was on January 25th. However, when I go into my account I see that I have not made any purchases ever and my account has not been upgraded. There also is no credit card on file so how is this charge going through if you do not have any have my credit card. I want these charges stopped because I haven’t used WordPress for years. Since there is no purchases I have no way to turn this off like you suggest on your website. Please advise. Thank you.

Do you perhaps have a WordPress.com site under a different account? The account you’re using to post here has never bought anything from us, and we don’t even have a card on file for you which we could charge, so if we’re charging you it’s for a site in a different account.
If you’re not sure what site or account the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ – enter the transaction details on that form, and it will tell you if that charge exists on our end and what site it’s for.
From there you’ll also be able to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public
