PROBLEMS WITH SAVING AND EXITING A SCHEDULED POST

I created a post and scheduled it to print publish on Thursday last week. I also saved it. However, it saved as a draft and did not publish. I have changed the date and reschedule it to post this coming Thursday. I then saved it, but when I try to leave the page to create another post, i get the message that I have unsaved info? Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to correct it. I need to schedule at least two posts per week and sometimes schedule them for an entire month at one time. However, I am hesitant to try creating the post I need to publish on 1/16/18, for fear of losing the one I just created for two days later. HELP!!

Hi, once you have selected the correct date and time, click Schedule. This will schedule the post, and the button will now say Update. You will also see the post status change from a draft to a scheduled post. This means, the changes you’ve made are saved and you can safely close the page.

If you still get the message, use a different browser or clear your browser cache.

I went back to do this and close my several open tabs. Unfortunately, I am still having a problem. It says update, and I saved it again, but when I hit the close button, I get that same error message about unsaved info. :(

lsct07, here are two things you can do:
1. Edit your posts using the WP Admin instead of using the default editor. Or the other way around.
2. Use a different browser. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Edge are some popular options.
