Problems with Social Media

Hi,
please I need help for my blog as since 29 March 2024 I have problems related to my posts shared first on Facebook and then on X too. Usually when I share a post on Facebook the social media chooses to show a random image among the photos inserted in my post but now instead of my photo I see a white box. This happen now also on X and the issue is affecting on both social media also my old post that in the past were correctly displayed. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem? Thank you in advance, I add the tag modlook in order to receive help from support.

I am following this because we are having the same issues on our end. We see the white box on all of our social media.

I know I’m not the only one and here nothing has changed today. Before writing here yesterday I’ve also tried to change the size of my images but it’s always the same. I hope the support will give us a solution for this problem.

Could you try adding a featured image to your site before publishing the next post to see if that helps? Here’s how to add a featured image:
A featured image represents the contents, mood, or theme of a post or page and is used throughout your site. This guide will show you how to work with featured images on your website. Set a Featured Image To set a featured image on a post or page, follow these steps: Visit your dashboard. Click on Pages or Posts from the options on the left. Thank you, I will try but I tried it once and it didn’t work. Please I discovered also some other things about this problem related to the images on my blog and I ask your kind help. If I click on the link of a photo it looks this: site address wp-content/uploads and then date and description of the photo. And I noticed that other blogs I see it different. Moreover I’ ve discovered recently also that the Adelle theme I’m using on my blog has been retired years ago. So, I was wondering: maybe if I change the theme the problem could be solved? I would love to keep my theme Adelle but I would like to try, eventually, theme penscratch 2. If I change theme and the images show up again on social media then the problem is solved but, in a contrary case, will I be able to return to the Adelle Theme? Sorry for the multiple questions and thank you for you help.

Sorry if I write again, but about an hour ago I was trying to write a post and I received a White page with “internal server error 500”. Later the blog came back, I logged out, I cleared the cache and I log in again and now, luckily is working. But I have never had so many problems before, I don’t know what’s happening. I wait for your help also about my previous question about eventually changing theme, Thank you.

Hi there, today I did what you recommended yesterday, I used a thumbnail image but I still see a white box on Fb and X instead of my photo. As I said all the post on my blog have this problem, so I really need your help to find a solution for this issue. I’m still wondering if the fact that I’m using the retired theme Adelle could be part of the problem, but I don’t really know and I wait for your suggestions, please take a look at my blog and let me know what to do. Sorry, I see that in my last reply I made a mistake, as I wrote ” I used a thumbnail image” but I meant “a featured image”. Sorry for the confusion, regards.
