Problems with specific enroute theme! You attempted to edit an item…
-
Dear all,
I have a problem. I’ve been working with a fantastic theme called enroute for months. Since this morning, I’ve been messing around with WordPress and my homepage. For example, I deleted the CSS, and after changing this and a few other things in the HTML, I keep getting an error message when I try to edit my homepage. I get this: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?” When I open my homepage on Google, I get a completely white screen. If I switch to a different theme, for example, twenty twenty-four, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong, because it opens fine, and I don’t see a white screen.
So the problem lies with that particular theme. I’m afraid I’ve ruined the theme for myself, because I’ve deleted some (or all) of the CSS, making this theme permanently unusable. This only affects my homepage; the contact and about pages open fine when I Google them.
Can someone help me?
