problems with statistical representations of followers, hits.
-
This morning I received an incredible, but welcome surprise, the number of e-mail follower rose from 40 to almost 500. I thought the low number of followers was odd, given the number of people who informed me that they were following me is well beyond that initial number, and the initial number of followers is a mere fraction of 1 percent of the number of hits I’ve received. Now that I’ve investigated the numbers, I no longer have the follow button on the side of the blog. Where that icon was, a new icon saying manage appears.
Moreover, the stasis in hits seems counter-intuitive, the number remaining rock solid after posting a new blog in a popular series. This simply does not make sense. I pay for the privilege of being on wordpress-I would like these numbers to be accurate. Their failure could have significant negative implications for my business. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
