problems with the authenicator

  I want to get rid of the authenticator how do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You go to the relevant support doc for two step authentication and find the disable two step authentication guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/#disabling-two-step-authentication

  I can’t disable it . every time I enter the code in its invalid. It getting really frustrating

  Hi @latiawilliams3,

  I believe you’re using the Google Authenticator app to login via two-step authentication. If so, can you follow these steps?

  1. Navigate to the following page here:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/security/

  2. Under Status, click “Disable”

  3. When prompted, open your Google Authenticator app and enter the numeric code generated for WordPress.com.

  That should allow you to disable the two factor authentication. Can you give that a try?
