Problems with the home menu

    Hi,

    I need help on my page. The issue I have is when I click on my blog name at the top it’s displaying all my blog posts when I only want it to display the posts from the ‘my lupus journey’ page.

    Also, when I click on home, it shows up the posts from the page ‘my lupus journey’ I’d like all my blog posts to be shown on that page. I’ve edited the link and don’t know how to get it back.

    Under the main menu, it says ‘Category: My lupus journey’. How do I remove this?

    The front page WordPress.com by default displays all your latest posts. So when you click on it all the most recent posts appear. It is not possible to change the linking for that. There might be a work around using Custom Design which is a part of Premium and Business Plan. But there is another option––you can set the front page to a “Static page” of your choice.     This can set up by configuring your “Home” item on your custom menu to the front page. Try these steps:

    1)From your Dashboard navigate to MySites->Theme->
    Customize->Menus->Primary

    2)You will find the Menu item “Home”. It would be set as a category item. You can remove it and add a New Menu item again and select it as a “Custom Link” item.

    3)Set the URL to a “/”(Forward Slash) or to “lupusmuslimahchronicles.wordpress.com”, which points the URL to your front page.

    To remove the text, you would require Custom CSS as mentioned above, which is possible with Premium and Business Plan. If you decide to switch to either of the plans, do let us know we can work out the Code snippets for it.
