I’m just a member but I too have been researching how to locate things with the new set up.
As far as I can tell the only way to access your media library from the new set up is to open a new draft for a blog and go through that method.
I’m not sure what you mean by blogroll but if you mean the list of all your posts then click on My Site (on my site it’s in the top left corner of my screen… then click on blog posts
Comments is something I’ve been searching for too. I found the comments I wrote located under -> reader -> my comments with reader also being in top left corner on my site. However comments that others have made are not there and neither are comments that may be held for approval or spam folder etc. I hope one of the admins will come along and answer that question for both of us.
In the mean time, Your old admin page “dashboard” can still be accessed at, and as far as I can tell nothing has changed there yet. You might want to book mark that page till they get the new stuff completely running. https://artefloralpararrumiantes.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

Thank you.
By ‘blogroll’ I mean the list of links to your favourite blogs and webs that you can show using a widget.
I can access the old admin page through the WP-Admin button, but that is not possible for new WordPress.com new users. I am teaching people how to construct a Wodrpress blog and I have find that problem.
In my oppinion, the recent changes have made WordPress more difficult to use, which for me is nonsense. -
@artefloralpararrumiantes I don’t know anything about the blog roll but I am using a new blog and I discovered that I can access the admin page by adding /wp-admi/ to my blog and I also discovered that if I add the widget for meta to my page it has an admin link on it still too. Good luck with your teaching. I know it can’t be easy to teach when things keep changing. On the otherhand if they never change anything we get stuck in time and sighhh I guess that’s the trade out for progress.
