problems with the preview
-
hello, since a few days, I´ve got problems with the preview, the new appearing window always shows this message: ‘Bitdefender has blocked this page – The certificate used to encrypt your connection to this website does not match the domain it was issued for. Attackers might try to steal sensitive information from you, such as passwords or credit cards.’
What happened? And what can I do? Thanks for help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi versspielerin,
Thanks, I’ve been able to replicate what you are referring to. If I go to your WP Admin dashboard and preview “hibiskuss”, my browser displays a similar message:
https://versspruenge.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=8849&action=edit
But if I preview the post from the new interface, the preview loads without any errors:
https://wordpress.com/post/versspruenge.wordpress.de/8849
Are you able to preview the “hibiskuss” post from there?
I noticed the URL in the preview from the WP Admin dashboard redirects to “versspruenge.wordpress.de”, which might be the cause of the problem. The site itself is secure but your browser is likely confused by the redirection and trying to protect you — which is why you are seeing this message.
I’ll look into this further and come back to you when I know more.

Hi,
I see … yes that works.
But how do I get there?
Anyway, if the site is sure, I am tranquillised.but: not so long ago, I needed to renew my password after I got an email by wordpress. I had to log in with a new password. may that associated to the problem with the preview?
thanks a lot, it´s nice to get such (fast) support!

Hi versspielerin,
But how do I get there?
The new interface is available from https://wordpress.com (rather than going to versspruenge.wordpress.com/wp-admin/). You should then a see a menu on the left hand side with links to “Blog Posts”, “Site Pages” etc.
The link in my last reply takes you through to an individual draft post but clicking “Close” at the top left will take you back to the other options.
I had to log in with a new password. may that associated to the problem with the preview?
The password reset is separate from the preview issue :)

This should now be fixed. You might need to clear your browser cache and cookies before it will work for you.
