Problems with the statistics on visitors

It’s already some weeks that my blog-statistics do not work with Safari 10.0.2 (MacOS 10.11). On my WordPress application it doesn’t work properly as well. Could you give me a hint, what I need to change, so that it works again?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

When you say WordPress application, do you mean the desktop app or the mobile one?

If stats aren’t loading properly in both your browser and the desktop app it points to a connection problem. To confirm, please try using a different internet connection and see if that makes any difference. You can also try resetting your modem/router by unplugging it for a few seconds.

And to rule out browser issues, can you please clear your browser cache and cookies, and also try testing on another browser like Chrome or Firefox to see if it happens there as well.

    hello,

does anyone know how i can find cumulative stats on each blog article written?

For me, it only separates the views by years but i’m looking for total number of views.

    any thoughts?

    Hey
If you click on ‘My site’ and then on ‘Blog Posts’ you will have all your blog posts listed and you will be able to see on the right of each posts miniature you comment, likes and views count.

    Hope it helped ;)

  • @onewithgodandchrist

At the bottom of each post at My Site ->Posts you’ll also see a Stats button. Click that to see the complete stats for that particular post.

    Hello,

I have got a problem with counting statistics on my blog. Since about one month there are wrong counting – ex. 100 people visited my article and statistics show, that there were just 5 visitors. I ve got facebook pixel and fb statistics which shows how many people just click in link, I get huge feedback from people about post and statistics show that there were just few people (like 6 or 15). Also statistics on my blog start to show lower number of unique visitors (its about 10-20 times less than general visits). Please help me to fix it.
    Thank you
    Dominika

    @Kokkieh

thank you for your remark. I am working with Safari. To empty the cache was helpful, now it works again. I’m using the computer in two different internet-environments, so this is probably the reason, why I have sometimes difficulties in loading the stats.

    Thank you!

  • @slakner

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t think using different networks is the issue. Files just become stuck in the cache over time, and flushing them out usually helps.
