problems with transfer from wp.com to wp.org

    Hy everybody.
    I created a blog one month ago on wp.com and mapped it on my domain http://www.username.com with the upgrade.
    Then, yesterday I decided to switch to a self-hosted solution with WP 2.7
    I changed again the DNS on my serverfarm using them instead the WP dns, bought the hosting service, installed WP 2.7, exported/imported my contents and everything seemed to go right: the installation was ok, the db created and populated.

    But on my domain nothing appears right now… :(
    Do you think coul be some conflict or problem on the redirecting of the url

    When i tried to change the domain in my old dashboard on wp.com using the url username.wordpress.com then the old blog appears on my url http://www.username.com, otherwise the page is blank.

    I also asked at wp.org support, but without success…

    Afraid you will have to continue to ask at WP.org. Except…I seem to recall some US law about redirecting nameservers…something about you have to leave the URL in place for sixty days? I may be misremembering it, but I honestly don’t think you can move a URL before that time is up.
