Problems with WordPress as viewed on the Iphone

  Hello!

  Okay, so I use my Iphone a lot and I really like that WordPress added a mobile deal to everything, however, its buggy so I figured I’d post my thoughts on it and it might help you all fix it. :)

  1. I really like the over all cleaning up of the themes to make it mobile friendly, and I like the easy button on the bottom to switch back, and the button on top of normal pages to go back to mobile friendly.

  2. Frames are broken in mobile version. (moderately annoying)

  3. In regular version, I can not zoom/dezoom the screen at all (really annoying). Normally, with a pinch and flick, I can move all around a webpage and zoom in and out at will. Whatever was done to mobilize the blogs and then de-mobilize them, the ability to zoom was messed up.
  To be very clear:

  1. Zooming works on every page, including wordpress.
  2. After going to mobile version, the zoom feature stops working. There is nothing to zoom in on in mobile version, so this is unnoticed.
  3. After going back to regular wordpress pages, the zoom is now broken.
  4. This is the IPhone and is the current version (not a jailbroken version), and the wordpress blogs are the only page I get this problem on, and only AFTER going from mobile to normal.

  Very informative write up, but may I make a suggestion that you also contact Support directly with this at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ because these are *use-to-user* support (small “s”) forums.
