Problems with Xanga Import

    I imported an XML file from xanga, got the email that was completed, but find no trace of it on my wordpress. Then, I thought, maybe it didn’t register. So I tried to re-upload, and now I keep getting getting stuck at a crossroad saying “this is not an XML file” when it clearly is. Please help!

    Have you tried using another browser or updating your browser version? http://browsehappy.com?

    Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually before your import will show up on WordPress.com.

    When I look at your blog, I can see one successful import. Please try importing your other .xml files and see if that works.

    If not, please try a different browser or try using the “WordPress” importer type rather than Xanga to see if that helps. And please let me know if it does or does not work for you when you try these workarounds.
