Problen while changing my email address

    As of january 31st I have change ISP from Videotron to Bell.
    I have been trying to modify my Email address.
    I must be doing something wrong because instead of simply changing the email account link to my wordpress site it creates a new account with my new Email address as identifier :( HELP!

    Thanks for trying to help me out.

    I have viewed the video before and followed the instruction save and except that the system tells me that the email address I want to use is already in uses…
    Probably because in prior attempts to change my email address I have created a new WordPress account with my new email as Identifier.
    I have since deleted permanently that new account and I still get the same message saying that the email address is already in uses :(
    1- Is there a delay before the system will accept my new email address?

    I was able to had my new email address as a recuperation email address
    2- Could that be the source of my problem?
