Profanity Filter For Me!
-
Hi all
I’m looking for a word find/replace filter similar to a profanity filter. I’ve just started my blog, and I’d like to find a plug-in that finds potentially “scandalous” words in my blog posts, and replaces them with something “search engine friendly”.
e.g should I type the word “bugger” into a post, I’d like a plug-in that would change that word to something that isn’t picked up by SE or filters, e.g putting <span>’s around certain letters, introducing other letters that have style=”display: none” attached to them, so bugger would become:
b|span class="hide"|u|/span|gg|span class="hide"|e|/span|r.(Excuse, the pipes==less than & greater than.)
Or something similar.
If anyone knows of an existing plug-in then I’d be grateful. Or if anyone can create one for me then I’d happily pay some greens. I can customise in PHP to an extent, so that’s the level.
TIA.
Natalie.

Hi natettio,
User plugins can’t be installed on WordPress.com blogs. If you’re looking for help with a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, please visit http://wordpress.org/support/ for help.
If you’re not sure where your blog is hosted, http://ismyblogworking.com/ can tell you.

I’ve got my blog hosted on my own server – it’s not with wordpress.com.
Is this the wrong forum to ask this question?
