Professional design for my wordpress.com site

  I have a pretty basic wordpress.com site that I rarely, if ever, update and a much newer wordpress.org site that I have put a ton of work into. Problem is that my wordpress.com site is what shows in google searches. Can I hire someone to customize an existing wordpress.com theme so it is more visually appealing and resembles my wordpress.org site? If so, where do I find these designers? Thanks

  Hi Dan,

  There is a service where you can hire someone to use the Custom Design feature to make modifications to an existing theme for you. This wouldn’t change any of the functionality of the theme but only how it looks.

  There is a section there called Request Theme Customization which contains the info you’re looking for.
