Professional email address

I purchased a website and domain name a few months ago, but have recently decided to reinstate my previous website with HomeSnap. Can I still use the domain name I purchased for that website? Will I get a renewal notification?
Also, I wanted to purchase a professional email address with that domain name as well through WordPress, but anytime I try to click on upgrades I get a message that reads “Check your Jetpack connection” and goes to a blank screen. Can you help me with this please? Thank you!

Hi there, if you’re referring to kelsohometeam.com, that domain is still registered and hosted with us.
If you’d like to host it elsewhere, we have a few options:
1. You can keep the domain registered with us and change the domain’s name servers to point to your new hosting provider: https://wordpress.com/support/change-name-servers/ If you keep the domain registered with us, we’ll continue to send renewal notifications, and it will renew at the rates listed here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/
2. You can transfer the domain’s registration to another domain registrar: https://wordpress.com/support/transfer-domain-registration/
As for our Professional Email, you can use it as long as your domain is registered with us by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/adding-professional-email-to-your-site/#purchase-professional-email-for-an-existing-domain

Hi, I really need some assistance please. Any time I try to click on any other page that isn’t the home page this message pops up. “Please check your primary site’s Jetpack connection.” I’ve tried everything but it always comes back to this. I am not going to use the WordPress website that I purchased because I was never able to get it set up. I only want the domain name (kelsohometeam.com) that I purchased to point to my Homesnap website which is not active yet because I am trying to get the domain set up for it. Would I be able to schedule a phone call or is there anyway you could connect to my computer to help me resolve this please? I am not able to do the live chat or even contact support because it always goes to this message. The only thing it lets me do is post something here. My number is Thank you for your time.

Following their instructions, step 1 for you starts at https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/kelsohometeam.com

One last question in regards to the professional email address. Do you have to use google workspace? I really just wanted to create the email address and have it forward to my gmail if possible.

I would say this depends on your needs. If you only need a forwarding address you can set one up for free by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/email-forwarding/
If you need to also do more “email” things like send outgoing email (not just forward incoming messages) and/or inbox management, you can purchase our Professional Email option, which is considerably less cost that Google.
