  Yes, you can set up custom email once you own/register a domain. There’s a few different options which are compatible with WordPress.com depending on your needs. I would take a look at this page as a starting point: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/

  Some email solutions are free (like forwarding) and others like using Google Workspace require an additional payment.
