    Hi, I’m new at WordPress and I’m a little lost.
    I don’t know how to display my profile at the sidebar, despite exploring WordPress the whole night.
    Does it depend on what theme you’re using?

    Any kind assistance is very much appreciated.

    If by profile you mean the “Edit profile” under “My Account”, that’s for setting your general wp user settings; it’s not meant to be displayed anywhere.

    Items in the sidebar are displayed through “Widgets”.

    You must go to Design>Widgets and add the Pages widget, then go to Write>Page, create a new page titled “About” (or any other way you like) and write the info about you there.

    This way you’ll have an “About” link in your sidebar, which will lead to your info page when clicked. If you prefer the info itself to actually show in the sidebar, you must go to Design>Widgets, add a Text widget and paste the info in it.
