Profile for new blog vanished after creating gravatar

  I have a blog under proparanoid and am creating a new blog under nnnosp, a group project I head. I went in to set up the profile reflecting the group. The screen was full of blank text windows as it should be. After filling it out I created a gravatar, and that’s where the trouble started:

  1) the final step in gravatar was to select where to use it: it did not list nnnosp as an option, so all I could do was select ‘do not use at this time.’

  2) When I returned to wordpress proper, the profile had changed to that of proparanoid and there is no way to select nnnosp even though I’m already in nnnosp dashboard. I’m afraid to edit it back again for fear it will also replace proparanoid.

  How do I have two different profiles AND each have its own gravatar?
