Profile Image

I want to upload an image for my profile, but it keeps saying “Crop uploaded image. File does not meet security guidelines.” What do I do?

You might want to post the image (or at the very least the file name) so we can maybe see what is occuring. I’m afraid you don’t give us anything to go on.

What is the size requirement for profile pictures. I don’t want to leave out parts of my image (like it is now *sad*) I want the whole image. I have tried cropping the image to various sizes, but it always wants me to crop the image and leave part of it (usually the sides) out. Must I leave part of the image out, or is there a size that I can make my image so it won’t need to be cropped?

Adding, the image I wanted to use is in the first post on my blog. As you can see, this last time I tried shaving some off the edges myself, yet it still wanted me to crop just as much off the image as before.

The avatar should be 128 * 128 pixels square. It will be smaller when used in comments so do check how good it looks when it shrinks.
