I am getting an ugly and generic profile picture next to my name whenever I like or comment on someone else’s blog. I used the tutorials, faq and updated my profile numerous times to no avail. Please help me resolve this trivial but annoying dilemma. Thanks! ~Urebril

Gravatar and WordPress.com are together forever.
http://blog.gravatar.com/2013/04/03/gravatar-and-wordpress-com-together-forever/After you log into your WordPress.com blog, you can upload your gravatar image here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile.
See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/avatars/blavatars/

For best practices for uploading gravatars, avatars and blavatars scroll down to below the video here: http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/01/24/gravatar-avatar-blavatar/Do note that it will not change instantly because the images are cached and that means it takes time ie. sometimes a couple of days for them to change.
To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatar-hovercards/ That’s also where you can set an maximum rating and default avatar for gravatar display on your blog. -
Thanks for the Prompt response. I will wait a few more days and see what happens. Cheers!
