profile not correctly updating

  I changed all my profile settings to “var1ck.wordpress.com” but my blog is still displaying as “kiva1varick.wordpress.com”, which was the original name but is now old. Help?

  Are you saying that you followed these instructions and changed the URL of the blog? This option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again. If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Hello, thanks for your help. The URL is correct and the display name on the blog is even correct, but on my dashboard it still displays my old user name. When I go to personal settings:user name it shows the correct value, so it seems like maybe it’s not correctly updating? Also when I choose ‘manage my blogs’ it shows the old name. Help?
