Profile not showing blog
-
http://paulatoth.wordpress.com/ is not available from my profile and I cannot get access to any of my pages or blogs.
Please see thread below. I need more information than what has been provided. I have used the same login and password for the entire time I have been using wordpress. You say that this blog is not related to the profile I have here. If that is the case, then somehow my profile and blog have been disassociated. I need help to re-associate this blog with this profile. Please tell me if the issue here is that the login is incorrect or the password is incorrect. This has always been my blog and I am feeling distressed. Please help.
________________THREAD___________The profile just says that there are 0 blogs in my profile. Can you please tell me what I need to do to get access to my blog and pages?

Apr 18, 2012, 11:47 AMThat blog is not registered under your ‘pmtoth10’ account, it has a different owner. If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password over here.
I’m closing this thread because the main problem has been solved. Feel free to open a new thread if you encounter any other issues.

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.
If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.
This is an automated message.

I have always logged into wordpress.com and used my user name and PW to maintain this blog. I need help to be able to maintain this blog. Understanding the difference between WordPress.org and WordPress.com is not helping me at this point. Are you saying that this blog is now hosted at WordPress.org? If that is the case, it was not with my permission. Honestly, I am telling the truth and need help to be able to access my blog.

This chat tool would not allow me to specify a blog address because my profile says I don’t have any blogs. Somehow my blog seems to have been disassociated from my profile. Please help

Same problem as pmtoth10 described above.
My blog: http://profholzer.wordpress.com
Last access: a little bit more than a half year ago
I want to log in and got the message:User xxxxxx Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “xxxxxx” and do not not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “___prof_holzer^s_labor___”. If you are not “xxxxxx”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “xxxxxx” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.
My blog is not accessable.
This is hosted at wordpress.com. So the difference of wordpress.com and wordpress.org its irrelevant.
I am the administrator and I can’t invite myself without admin privileges.Please give me a helpful answer and shut down the stupid supportbot with his senseless answers!
Thanks in advanced!

@timethief:
Logging in using http://profholzer.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ will produce the same error message for me. -
Gak! This is also happening to me. I have four blogs – three of them associated with church work I do, and one of them my own personal blog. I can now only view the dashboard of one of them!
I, too, have had the same email and password I have always had with wordpress. This spontaneously happened.
My email is revsarey at gmail. The three blogs I cannot see:
sareliz.com (revsarey.wordpress.com)
no-exceptions.org (godlovesyounoexecptions.wordpress.com)
episcopalwny.wordpress.comThe second two are important, but the first is imperative! I’m an independent contractor, and this is my life line!
Someone, please help me…
-
Oh, and to be clear – my last login to sareliz.com (revsarey.wordpress.com) was… about ten minutes before my blog got disassociated from my profile.
I know this will be a quick fix when the right person looks into it, and I’m really grateful for everyone’s time and effort.
Thanks in advance,
Sare Gordy

I did as you suggested and as woody55a did and got the same message he did:
User pmtoth10 Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “pmtoth10” and do not not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “WaDaYa KnO!”. If you are not “pmtoth10”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “pmtoth10” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.
The last time I accessed this account was about a month ago. I really would like to get my blog back. What do we have to do to get some staff to help out with this. I have been madly reading all I could on this and there is nothing in the archives to address this issue. The blog and the profile are no longer associated. It is a shame and a waste of time that we cannot attract the attention of someone on staff who can help! This clearly has to be handled by someone who has privileges to re-associate profiles and their related blogs. It is an administrative issue!

On an earlier post in another thread, the staff person suggested clearing the cache, I have done that to no avail. I have also reset my password as suggested also in that same earlier thread and no luck.
Patiently awaiting and administrative expert to help. Paula

I tried to get in with three different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and I cleared their caches too.
I reset the password – all without any effect.

@timetheif
I seem to be without a way to work with my blog and site. I have a need to post several entries to link to over the internet to get my job done and I can’t do it while my blog has been hijacked to some other profile that is not mine. I can’t get help from anyone on the forum. Is there some place I can call? Who do you think can fix this? Or is it unfixable? Any thoughts?

@pmtoth10
This thread has been flagged for Staff attention for come time now and Staff have posted to the forum since it was flagged. though I don’t have any additional information, I’m speculating that Staff know there is an issue and they are working in the backend to locate the cause and fix it. -
@timethief
This is the first time I have had to get any technical support from WordPress and I have no idea of what to expect. I am used to being able to call when I have a critical question like this. If you say that they will get around to it, I guess I have to wait. Should I be considering upgrading my account?
Paula -
@pmtoth10
There are over 32 million of us and there is no telephone support. No I don’t recommend that you purchase an upgrade due to this, as I cannot see how that would make Staff work any harder or faster than they do now. When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff it’s important to understand they have a backlog and they deal with the support tickets with the earliest dates first.
