Where exactly are you trying to add a profile picture? Your theme on that site doesn’t have an option for a profile picture/to display your Gravatar, so the only way to add it is in the content of a post, page or widget.

I am talking about at my profile: https://wordpress.com/me
Until recently it had one but when I tried to change the picture it did not allow it and then after a few attempts my current profile picture disappeared.
When I am looking at my screen is the circle next to the ‘bell’ for notifications on the right hand side.

That will allow us to test with the image you are trying to set as your profile image, and see if we have the same issue. Thanks!

The image that I was trying to use is already at that page. It is the image with me and a Canadian Legion mask
I see it as the 3rd image there under January 8th.

Hm, I’m not having any trouble with this myself.
First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.
2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
