    A small round picture of my face has suddenly appeared right in the middle of my cover banner. I didn’t put it there, don’t want it there, and don’t seem able to remove it. Please can you get rid of it or tell me how I can as it covers the image and sometimes the title of the blog

    Looks like you might have added it as your logo by accident?
    It’s in the area where your logo usually goes. Go to appearance – customize and check to see if you made this picture your logo for the header. Hope it helps.

    I can see it there but it won’t allow me to remove it. I certainly didn’t add it because I wouldn’t know how to – accidentally or otherwise – and it seems really odd that after four years it’s suddenly appeared. It’s so annoying as it’s totally in the wrong place.
