I changed my profile picture some time ago. When I repost the blog on other sites, the old picture shows up, even though I deleted it from the site at the time of change. Why is this, and can I change that setting somehow?

Know that there is only a single gravatar image and a single email address for every username account, and that a wordpress.com account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing. Gravatar support docs are at http://en.gravatar.com/support/
Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.
Dashboard → Settings → General
Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with
the actual name of your blog in the URL
http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
Do not keep uploading!

To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.

Yes, the clock is the new picture. It’s uploaded on ALL my social media and indeed appears correctly on both WordPress and Gravatar when in the site. The problem I am having is this: If I repost a blog post to Twitter, for example, when you click on “View Summary” there, the old image comes up in the link. I tried to put an image in here to show it, but it won’t allow me to do so. Here is a link to my Twitter profile page instead.https://twitter.com/AliceWhite01 It’s the second tweet down and if you click on “View Summary” you will see a different picture, (the old picture), comes up on the link.
