Profile picture unchangeable?!

  Hi,
  I’m new to WP. I tried to add a profile picture but it came out badly cropped. Now I have been unable to change the picture (even to a blank box). Any advice?!

  What is the procedure you’re using to change the picture and how does it differ from the procedure you used to post the pic in the first place?

  same procedure. I go through the entire process and it seems to be working fine until it finishes cropping and shows me the result and it is the old picture.

  Not now it’s not. Now it’s a hot pink square, bordered by black.

  You’re welcome. Sometimes there’s a lag time between the place where images are stored and the page you may want it displayed on. Looks like things turned out okay.

  It’s probably cached to reduce strain on the servers.
