Profile Pictures/other pictures

  I’m trying to change my profile picture on my site’s main page where with the name, about, contact, blog. I changed it on Gravatar, but it’s not showing up on my site’s main page. I would also like to change a few default images, like at the bottom of the site’s main page where it says ‘connect with me.’ Thank you.

  A wordpress.com account and a gravatar account are one in the same thing. Read all about that here: Why Does Gravatar Say I Already Have an Account? http://en.gravatar.com/support/existing-account/

  You can use one gravatar image for each username account. It will apply to all sites referred under the same username account. And, the Gravatar help link is http://en.gravatar.com/support/

  Gravatar/blavatar (favicon) images do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change. The accepted file types are:
  .jpg/.jpeg
  .gif
  .png

  Dashboard → Settings → General

  * Replace “http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG” below with the actual name of your blog in the URL

  http://INSERT_NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  Do not keep uploading!
  Do not forget to select an image rating.
  Know that other bloggers can choose not to display any “erotic” gravatar’s on their site.

  To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to Dashboard > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatar-hovercards/
