Profile username concerns

  My wordpress username is a name that I did not create. Does wordpress ever automatically assign usernames? It also says that I joined in September of this year even though I have had my website for over 2 years now. Any idea of why this would happen and if this is normal?

  It seems quite normal to me. You created this WordPress.com username devotedlymentality6522003b76 one month ago. You must have another older account either here at WordPress.com or some other host entirely. Did you write down your username and password when you created that account?
