profile web address

Add topic to favorites
I changed the web address in my gravatar profile months ago, but it still directs people to the old address. When I go to the manage profile page, it shows the new address, but when I click on my gravatar from somewhere else it takes me to the old address. How can I fix this?

The change is not retroactive.

I tried it with a brand new comment I made last night. Still goes to the old address.

Hi again,
Will you confirm some settings please?
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

I just tried it again from here, and it took me directly to the new address. But when I leave a comment on a wordpress blog, it takes you to my profile which still links to the old address, even though I changed it months ago.

I checked and both emails are the same. jodysusskind at yahoo dot com.

The web address under the personal settings is showing the new one. It’s just not showing up on my profile page.

Have you changed it at Gravatar.com in addition to on your profile page

Hm that’s a new one. Once upon a time if it was changed in your personal profile it was changed automattically on Gravatar as well.

I believe it works the other way around, but I didn’t realize it ever had pushed info from WP.com to Gravatar.
