Programming on the back-end
-
Is there a possibility to do programming on the back-end (like in ASP pages)? The simplest example might be a membership form and manipulation with the data received from the user. Please share this with me. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

…manipulation with the data received from the user
What kind of data? An administrator does have the ability to edit, revise, amend, delete all posts, pages, and comments regardless of which user created them.

Thanks for your reply.
I am talking about a website, not blog. Please let me bring a couple of simple examples.
1. As admin, I’d like to select for myself all the members who’d visited my site, say, yesterday between 3 and 4 PM.
2. Let’s say, I know my members’ weight in pounds (this is just for the sake of example). I want a listing of them calculated in kilograms.
Thank you

I don’t know if such customization is possible. Wait for CSS specialist or staff member to respond. You might also resubmit your request at the CSS Customization support forum. Whether here or there you can call for staff attention by adding a “modlook” tag to the sidebar.

WordPress.com blogs are websites. It’s not a clear distinction. Are you referring to a WordPress.com site?

Please help! I’d like to find out if I can programmatically analyze the data submitted back by the page form. Is there a place for such back-end module? Thank you.

Whether [you submit a support request] here or there [the CSS Customization support forum] you can call for staff attention by adding a “modlook” tag to the sidebar.
I meant to say that you may add a tag to the sidebar here. I’ll add the “modlook” tag to bring the topic to the attention of staff.

The answer is no. For that data and capability you need to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.ORG software install. Please read this comparison https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
