Project excerpts not showing up on portfolio grid.

    Greetings:

    Using the Blask theme. Home page is static with portfolio template applied. Featured images show up when I add them to projects or just placeholders when I don’t. Either way, so far so good.

    When I try entering a project excerpt in the box on the right below the featured image, the text DOESN’T show up on the home page below the image/link as one might expect that it should. Indeed the demo DOES NOT show any excerpts at all.

    Where do the excerpts appear? Do they appear at all? Or is this feature not implemented in Blask? Note! We’re talking about projects not posts. I get the difference.

    This is correct — Blask doesn’t include excerpts on the portfolio page — I’m guessing because it’d have a harder time calculating that layout for different screen sizes and what not.

    Since your site allows outside themes, I actually tried searching a bit to see if I could find a similar theme that does show excerpts on a tiled portfolio page, but I didn’t have any luck. You do have that option if you can find one, or, you could look into seeing what it’d take to make a child theme that shows excerpts.

    Do note, the excerpts should still be used if you are sharing the project link on social media and do not have an alternate social media message set.
