Project Header at Lodestar Theme

  Hi,
  I am working at Lodestar theme and when I create a “Project” inside of the “Portfolio” the header doesn´t apper. Can someone help?

  Hi Simone,

  On Lodestar, a portfolio project title is displayed automatically if no featured image is set on the project. If a featured image is set on the project, the title is displayed when the visitor runs the cursor over the image. I’m not sure how this works on touch screens.

  I’m sorry, I think I misunderstood the issue described. Did you mean that the site header doesn’t appear on a portfolio project?

  It appears to me that no site header image is presently set on the site.

  No. There is a site logo displayed. And instead of a site header image behind the site title and logo in the header area there is the background color of one of the palette options available at Customize > Colors & Backgrounds > Background.

  You may replace the grayish background color behind the site title and logo with an image by setting a site header image at Customize > Header Image.

  Hi,
  I have done that (“setting a site header image at Customize > Header Image”) and the photo appears in other places as you can see at the follow link: https://bluechangeinitiative.wordpress.com/blog/

  However it doesn´t appears in the projects of the portfolio, I can´t understand why, and it used to appear before.

  It does seem that you have a site header set, as the same image appears on the blog page, and the two posts. It’s not clear to me why the site header does not displayed on the portfolio project, because it does display on projects in my tests, and I’ve been unable to reproduce the result that you’ve obtained, so I’ll call for staff attention to the topic. Please wait for staff to respond. It might not be until tomorrow morning (US timezones).

  Hi there,

  Click on My Sites, then click the Customize button next to Themes. Then click on Portfolio.

  Your theme sets a separate header for portfolio projects, that’s not the same as the custom header that shows on the rest of the site. It looks like the portfolio header didn’t get set correctly. I removed it and then added it back, and it’s working now.
