Project separation in portfolio types

I tried to find the solution. but I haven’t been successful.

My problem is about project separation.

As I see, every project has buttons to go to neighbour projects. However, it is useful to move between all the projects.
Could I have an opportunity to have the same buttons, but move only inside distinct type without going on the type page?

Hopefully, I described my problem in not obscure way.

    Hi,

As I see, every project has buttons to go to neighbour projects.

Where do you find such buttons? I’m not sure what you mean.

Could I have an opportunity to have the same buttons, but move only inside distinct type without going on the type page?

Yes, if I understand you correctly, though I’m not sure what you mean by “the same buttons.” You may create a top level menu item that links to a type archives page. Then, add a drop-down or “sub-menu” below that menu item in which the sub-menu items are the projects of that type. Displaying such a drop-down menu in a custom menu isn’t possible on every theme, but it is possible on Illustratr, the theme that you presently have activated. How to create a sub-menu is briefly described in the Changing the Order & Creating Sub-Menus section of the Custom Menus support page.

For example, your top level menu item may be “Cats.” After you create the drop-down menu below “Cats” as outlined above, then pointing the cursor at the menu item “Cats” will activate a drop-menu that includes a link to each project assigned to that type. I’m not sure how one would activate the drop-down menu on a touch screen, or if it’s possible.
