Project tag pages in Blask theme
-
Hi,
I have a site that is using Blask theme and I have a problem with pagination on project tag pages. On some pages I have previous link which is fine, I can go through all of the projects by clicking on it, example: https://ivnahraste.wordpress.com/project-tag/felt-art/, but on other pages I have Older projects button instead of Previous and once button is clicked javascript error appears and not all projects are loaded, example: https://ivnahraste.wordpress.com/project-tag/web-and-multimedia/All of those pages are of the same type, project tag pages, so I don’t know what I can do so that all of them have previous link and not Older projects button.
Please help.

Hi there,
on other pages I have Older projects button instead of Previous and once button is clicked javascript error appears and not all projects are loadedI see. When I browsed the web and multimedia lot I was not faced with a Javascript error.
Nevertheless, let’s go ahead with a two-step process in order to make sure we resolved this @ivnahrasteFirst, go ahead and open
https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/ivnahraste.wordpress.comScroll down to “Content types” on that page, toggle off the “Portfolio projects” and click on the “Save settings button”.
Once it is saved go ahead and activate them again.
Also, make sure that you have the desired number displayed per page.
That would be it for step one.For step two I need you to go through the following page and take special note of the two ways of categorizing your projects: Project Types (similar to Categories) and Project Tags (similar to Tags):
https://wordpress.com/support/portfolios/Then apply accordingly. :)
Hope this helps, let us know how it went!

Hi,
thank you for your reply. I get JS error in Chrome as soon as I click on Older Projects button:

One page still has previous link and rest of them have Older projects.
I have added tags on all projects and I use project-tag pages for displaying them.
All of the project-tag pages are of the same type, they all have project-tag in the url, all that I would like is that they all have Previous button (like https://ivnahraste.wordpress.com/project-tag/felt-art/ has) and not Older projects.

Hi again @ivnahraste
all that I would like is that they all have Previous button (like https://ivnahraste.wordpress.com/project-tag/felt-art/ has) and not Older projects.I have tried to recreate your issue, to no avail.
First suggestion for getting to have a
Previouslink instead ofOlder projectsis to double-check the published dates of your portfolio items. Edit them to appear as published on the same week for example. If this does not work, another suggestion is to have a look at whether you have infinite scroll activated or not. See if changing its setting suits you better:
https://wordpress.com/support/infinite-scroll/Then, lastly, to use the shortcode instead and customize it to your heart’s desire:
https://wordpress.com/support/portfolios/portfolio-shortcode/Maybe not connected directly to the solution you are seeking -and believe you will reach by following my tips above- but is worth knowing about is the page break block, with which one can break their long form content in custom page breaks:
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/page-break-block/Hope this helps further, otherwise, let us know!
