project Tupe and Category Type block not displaying as I would expect

    I am trying to use the Category Type block to display the category types of the posts appearing on the page similar to a menu but it is not working as I envisaged.

    I inserted the Category Type block but on the summary archive page but only two of the categories are listed (All News and Behind the Scenes) whereas the page has posts with four different categories. Why is the Category Type block displaying only two??

    This happens on various themes and also when I use Project Type too. My theory is that it displays the category types for the first post only.

    Ideally I would like to use this block as a navigation tool so any time my client adds a new category it will automatically appear in the listing. If I use the Navigation block, I believe he would have to manually create a new Category Type menu item each time he set up a new category or is there a better way of achieving this?
