Project types portfolio

  Hi!
  I’m using Illustratr theme and I’m trying to add a portfolio page. I’d like to add 2 different portfolio pages, each one including different projects. How can I do this? Do I have to use project types? I tried to use these ones but when I create a new portfolio page I’m not allowed to assign it the categories…
  Please, can you help me? Thank you,
