Projects and Posts as a Grid that I can combine and seperate

    Afternoon,

    I want make a page for projects in a grid, a page for posts in a grid and be able to show them on the same page.

    I have made a projects page but I cant seem to make a blog post page in grids.

    I thought about making a project page with some tagged/categorised as posts and some tagged/categorised as my own projects, so that I can display posts on one page, projects on another and then a third page with them combined. But I cant work out how to change what projects are displayed.

    I thought it might be something similar to this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-post-in-more-than-one-menu-item/ but I dont think we have quite the same problem.

    Hi there!

    If I understood correctly, you’d like to have your blog page display in a grid, in the same way as your homepage does right now, is that correct?
    If so, you will want to search for another theme that allows that or, try to make those changes using custom CSS.

    It’s out of the scope of our support, but if you’re not familiar with CSS, you can consider hiring a freelancer to get this done for you.

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I’ve had a look and can’t seem to find a CSS description or theme that matches what I want to do.

    What I was thinking of doing was having a portofolio with two types of projects; some that are for the portfolio and others for the posts.

    Then I can make two pages on one, hide the posts and the other hide the projects.

    Any suggestions on that?

    The shortcode and the live chat have shown me what to do.

    They helped me make a portfolio page and use the shortcodes to only show certain tags, which worked.
