Prologue Theme Page Need Help Please.

  I just created a new blog using Prologue Theme. I thought that it was a group theme in twitter format, but it doesn’t show that way when I visit my site. What’s a girl to do? Does anyone have any recommendations? The blog url is http://www.soapoperamoms.wordpress.com. I also posted VodPod videos and can’t control them automatically starting, I would like to correct this because it could get annoying to my readers. Please help. Thank you, Tammy Dantzler

  Actually it looks just like it should. I personally never liked the Prologue theme, but have a look at other themes maybe?

  And none of your videos started automatically for me.

  May I ask which browser you’re using?

  I’m using FF 3.0.3 and the videos are auto-starting for me.

  The videos started automatically for me every time I scrolled
  past a video it would start buffering I had four videos start
  all at once I had to leave the site because it was so loud on my
  ears (Headphones)

  I’m on FF 3.0.3 on Vista and none of thenm autoplayed for me. That’s strange..

  I don’t see ANY videos: just big white spaces. This is an issue with Hulu vids, I know, because nobody outside the US can see them. But I sure hope it doesn’t effect all vodpod videos, too.

  I’m also using Firefox, 3.0.3 & as you can see in this Screen shot
  I can see the videos just fine when I click on this link http://www.soapoperamoms.wordpress.com.

  As I said, none of the videos show for me at all. Maybe it’s just because they’re all trying to load at once?

  @rain,
  That could be because it locked up my browser when I went
  back to the site for the second time to acquire the screen shot.

  @personaldnavitamin

  You should add the more tag to the posts with the videos
  so that way if the reader wants to check out the video
  they can click on the read more tag.

  I also agree with Vivian, that 8 videos on the home
  page is a bit much especially when they all start playing
  at the same time.

  I can see all the videos (Mac, Firefox & Safari), and several of them autoplay (together!).

  @personaldnavitamin: If the code for the videos shows in your html post editor, try replacing “autoPlay=true” with “autoPlay=false”. Also, you’ve got those ugly scrollbars because the videos are wider than your main column (I wonder why you’ve chosen Prologue); so, if the code shows, you could also try changing this:
  width='425' height='350'
  to this:
  width='370'
  (I haven’t actually tried that with vodpod videos, but with other inserts it works.)
