PROMOTING WITHIN WORDPRESS

  How to i promote my own blog, within the confines of the WordPress community? Without being too pushy or anything? Is there another place besides the usual facebook anf such for me me to promote my blog outside of WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The best think I find is to leave intelligent comments on other people’s blogs, or even to blog about their blogs (they will see this via pingback). A lot of people will post something about yours in return, you don’t even have to ask them.
