    How do I promote my blog properly? How can people subscribe to my blog?

    Hi there. Best way to build a following is to join the community. Read other blogs and leave meaningful comments on them and their owners and readers might just return the favour. Make sure you assign appropriate tags (but not too many) to your posts so they’ll appear in the topic listings in the Reader. And it goes without saying that you should write good and original posts that people will want to share and comment on.

    Another great way to get more eyes on your site is to post in The Community Pool, a feature that publishes every Monday on the staff blog, The Daily Post. That feature exists for bloggers to ask for and give feedback to other bloggers. On that blog you’ll also find listings of blogging events – participating on those will also get more eyes on your site.

    There you can also promote your site using the various forms of social media, but it doesn’t always work for everyone.
